It’s a bit of a mood swing of a song that I feel many can relate to. “I recorded the song about three years ago and shot the video on the shortest day of the year 2019.” Bríet says and adds “the memory of sitting in an ice cold glass box for four hours definitely is a moment I won't easily forget.” The song and the video was scheduled to be released earlier but then life happened and Bríet decided to follow her own flow as heartbreak took over,  Bríet explains, as she wrote a whole Icelandic album about that which was released in October 2020. “And here we are three years later and finally the song is out.”
