NinaReed released a catchy new single last week and we've been eager on featuring it on the site. We weren't able to trace back any working social links or any information related to the artist but that didn't stop us from falling in love with 'Hot CoCo'. The vocalist in the track sounds incredible, we love the writing style and the way the vocalist carries themselves over the drums. Sam Setton makes his big return with 'Wine'. An intimate R&B gem with dark undertones and rich lyrical imagery. We love the production style but most importantly, Sam delivers some of his best work yet. The sultry like vocals and bouncy production elevates Sam's emotional distress as he reflects on a past relationship. We love this side of the artist and we felt like Sam did an incredible job portraying his frustration and energy in the song.

This isn't the first time we've covered Sam on the site and from the get-go we've admired and loved Sam's writing style. This song channels my frustration and conflict about the relationship as at points in the song I say she's my soulmate and at other's I say that I won't even miss her if we end things.. even if it’s just to get a rise out of her. It's a beautiful Tuesday morning and to get things started we have this brand new record from Peter Kuli and Still Haze titled 'Potion'. We love this track for several reasons.. the instrumentation is light and minimalistic and doesn't take up all of your attention. The atmosphere of the pads creates a warm energy that we felt was soothing and relaxing and places a clear emphasis on the vocal performance—the vocals add an intimate touch and the lyricism is rich with imagery (pay attention as you listen along).

Tentendo releases 'Ghost' (feat. Blasko)

This new dance record from Tentendo sounds incredible... if you're a fan of house tracks with a soulful R&B vocal top-line, 'Ghost' will hit the sweet spot. Featuring Blasko on vocals, the two artists deliver a catchy new house tune with dark hypnotic undertones. The sound design and the instrumental production sound great in the mix and provide a really intense experience that may or may not cause one to dance uncontrollably.

Tentendo says; 'Ghost came about one winter afternoon in my lounge room with Blasko. I just started flicking through some old beats - most of which I hated but this one stuck out as one which might have potential. We re-worked it a bit and the song was done a couple of hours and a short pizza break later. Ghost is about wanting to be seen, wanting to be visible to someone.'

While this may be Tentendo's second release over the last year, the producer is gearing up to release a string of new music via Majestic Casual and after hearing 'Ghost', I think it's safe to say we're pretty excited to hear what's next. Don't forget to connect with the artist online and enjoy!

One of our latest obsessions come from the incredible Rosé and rising hip-hop artist dylAn. Titled 'Pieces', we were immediately drawn in by the warm production style and the slow rhythmic energy from the drums.

Rosé delivers a jaw-dropping vocal performance and provides a deep level of imagery with her lyricism and unique vocal style while dylAn provides an important contrast to the record with his raw energy and creative word play when delivering his verses.

We've been enjoying the hip-hop artists vocal style for some time now so we were excited to see this collaboration come about when it did and we can only hope to hear future work from both of the artists in the near future. But until then, I suppose we'll keep 'Pieces' on repeat. Enjoy!
