“Taxi Man was inspired by an actual cab ride I took in Miami after a night out in Brickell with my friends. I was unexpectedly given unsolicited advice from a very wise old Bahamian man. His message really impacted me in a way that brought out dormant emotions of my past. I originally recorded him talking to keep for snapchat… But ended up using the actual recording in the song.”

Ruben Young delivers nostalgic modern-soul single 'Rachel Green' (feat. Hodgy)

Well for starters, we love how nostalgic Ruben Young's new record is. Titled 'Rachel Green', if you were a fan of the hit 90's TV show 'Friends', you'll recognize the references throughout the song. Ruben's talents go unnoticed, his ability to write catchy harmonies while remaining original is an art form in itself and we absolutely love his creative writing and vision. 

The track features rapper American rapper Hodgy—the iconic member of the hip-hop collective Odd Future. Together, the two artists bring a diverse and entertaining element to the record and for that we give the track our stamp of approval.

Tentendo releases 'Ghost' (feat. Blasko)

This new dance record from Tentendo sounds incredible... if you're a fan of house tracks with a soulful R&B vocal top-line, 'Ghost' will hit the sweet spot. Featuring Blasko on vocals, the two artists deliver a catchy new house tune with dark hypnotic undertones. The sound design and the instrumental production sound great in the mix and provide a really intense experience that may or may not cause one to dance uncontrollably. 

Tentendo says; 'Ghost came about one winter afternoon in my lounge room with Blasko. I just started flicking through some old beats - most of which I hated but this one stuck out as one which might have potential. We re-worked it a bit and the song was done a couple of hours and a short pizza break later. Ghost is about wanting to be seen, wanting to be visible to someone.' 

While this may be Tentendo's second release over the last year, the producer is gearing up to release a string of new music via Majestic Casual and after hearing 'Ghost', I think it's safe to say we're pretty excited to hear what's next. Don't forget to connect with the artist online and enjoy!
