Nashville based, SAINT PRESSURE shares "homies are church" and it's one of the hardest track we've heard today... seriously. SAINT has a really unique sound and it stands out. We're excited to share this little gem from 23 year old singer/songwriter Ren Farren. Based in Los Angeles California - Ren Farren has a beautiful voice and "Good Girl" has a very nostalgic feel to it. Anyway, we think you'll like it!
"This is a big song for me that came out of a rough year--a bad break up, a Trump presidency, etc, etc. I was grappling with my ideas of femininity and developing a kind of love/hate relationship with it. I was looking at the way it has shaped people's expectations of me, and the guilt I've felt when I've failed to meet those expectations, even knowing how irrelevant and unrealistic they can be. This song helped me move from confused to defiant to feeling powerful again. It's a song about flawed womanhood, but it's also a song about how it feels to be forced into a box you don't fit into--and realizing the problem is with the box, not with you. I'm hoping it can mean something to people who know that feeling. Boy, girl, or in between."

So today Faunaphor released "standing in the doorway" - the second single from the duo's anticipated debut project "And There I Was" (coming Sept 8, 2017). Which could only be descriebd as a dreamy meditation on memory and many-faceted selves; a mural of punchy, driving drums, floating synths, and pixelated guitar textures with expressive saxophone lines. So lucky for us MARK just released his second EP “Lost Perspective” - exploring unique and romantic lyrical topics. The EP contains five songs produced by Matthew Boda, KELLR and Grammy-nominated producer - Damon Sharpe. MARK was able to work with his longtime songwriting partner, Charlotte Suen and together they shaped the lyrical topics of the EP: MARK’s five love stories express in five different ways. Anyway, we're huge fans of the project so here's "Glassheart" one of our favorite records from the project. Enjoy!
