Danny Barwick - "Flickering" [Edit]

This is by far one of the more unique and forward thinking records we've covered on Gems and Secrets. A true definition of a "Gem"... this record from Danny Barwick is a very cinematic, very atmospheric record that almost hypnotizes the listener from start to finish. Are you ready for something different? 

Danny Barwick is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer from Melbourne, Australia. He began his career in 2012 as a drummer, recording and touring for many projects before taking a break in 2015 to study Philosophy. After his study, he was inspired to explore sampling and electronic production, and soon uploaded three experimental remixes which went on to achieve over two million streams on Spotify and iTunes. This laid the path for the creation of ‘Distance’, a debut EP of entirely original material written and recorded in his home studio. 

Nellie S shares new song "Frequency"

This is Nellie S's debut single and it's quite the record. Stirring into the dance music world, the singer/songwriter I think it's safe we have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Other than that, we don't know much about the talented artist so we hope to learn more soon. Till then, enjoy this fresh dance record "Frequency". Felmax & PURGE drop insane banger "Make Love"

"Make Love" is Felmax's newest self-released tune after recent releases with heavy hitting outlets Dim Mak, Trap Nation, and Spinnin'. He teams up with experimental group Purge for the single, elaborating on Felmax's aggressive style with an incredibly eclectic vibe. The track starts out with dark trap/dub stylings before unexpectedly morphing into Jersey club, finishing out the tune with a dose of refreshing eclecticism. This song is a club banger and we imagine bass music fans will favor this insane dance record. We can definitely see this record tear down the clubs and festivals this year... what do you think? Eighty Ninety release new single "Your Favorite Song"

Brothers Abner (vocals, production) and Harper James (guitar, production) fuse intimate storytelling, sticky melodies, and minimalist pop productions built on acoustic instruments and electronic sounds in a style they call “808s and telecasters”— a shorthand for both their music and their anything-goes mentality in the studio. "Your Favorite Song" is a rather emotional song about relationships and we feel a lot of music lovers will be able to relate to the lyrics here. Eighty Ninety did a great job expressing and putting these frustrating emotions into a song ---- all for you to enjoy!
