For this next one, we have to dig back 2 years. While it might be an older track, gems never expire and neither does Cola's 'Clay'. The moody R&B banger is perfect for those late nights and those long drives around the city. Cola's style its a bit psychedelic and while its expressive and more on the experimental side - its unique. Unique in such a way that Cola stands out above everyone else and we can foresee incredible things to come from the artist. Now if only we can get some new music... Hey Mister Idiot

This is the second release from 9 Theory's upcoming second album, Good Morning From A Nuclear Ghost, released on the new LA-based music label, Elite Frequency Group (EFG). 

Its a passionate, more mysterious piece of work but it certainly has an energy that cant be compared to much. Its unique, its exciting, and it puts you in a mood thats difficult to explain with words. If you like 'Hey Mister Idiot' - 9 Theory is releasing music frequently leading up to the release of their album. 

"I had this foundation of a song laid out with the melody and phrasing for awhile, but was struggling to come up with the right lyrics for the chorus to nail down a theme and get it going. Then, after my dismay at Donald Trump becoming my president, and him instantly saying and doing a staggering number of crazy things within the first two weeks of his presidency, the lyrics to this chorus came quite quickly and easily. I generally like to keep my lyrics more cryptic rather than super obvious, so though this song can have a more broad interpretation it was definitely inspired by Trump, and for me the chorus is a direct statement to him."

Its a unique track and hats off to 9 Theory for putting this together. We love the sound and the energy and we can only expect amazing things with the final album. Listen to Luboku's latest "The Surface"

The Melbourne based producer just released their latest work 'The Surface' and its incredible. Written, recorded and produced entirely by Luboku, ‘The Surface’ was mastered in Sydney’s Studios 301 by engineer Ben Feggans, whose credits also include Flume, Hayden James, Cut Copy, Miami Horror, Rüfüs and The Kite String Tangle. Crazy right? The track is dark, and moody, but exciting. The producer took a short break in 2014 to really master their sound and now they're back and bigger than ever. Taking influence from artists like Tourist and James Blake to really connect with their songwriting skills. 

“‘The Surface’ was born from a fear I have of living a digitized life. I have this bleak image in my mind of a dystopian world, where people’s online lives become more important than their real ones. I’ve become fascinated with this dilemma, people can be so connected yet so unaware of one another. ‘The Surface’ is about that search for authenticity in a superficial space.”

Up and coming house producer, CORMAC, released a new house joint earlier this week and you need to check it out. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona - the incredible talent has gain traction amongst club and house music lovers by curating and hosting weekly club events and performing at some of Arizona's largest music festivals.  

I think its safe to say that with CORMAC's growth as an artist and his deep involvement in giving back to the community, we can expect great things to come from the artist in the coming months and over the years. CORMAC is on our artist to watch list and should be on yours too.

Future James shares funky new dance record "Valerie"

Looks like we can rely on Future James to bring the funk and good vibes. With their latest release 'Valerie' - we get a classic house sample over funky thick bass-lines. Music like this is timeless and now we can't get it out of our heads.
