This Absofacto x Kranium collab is incredible

Absofacto shared his EP with us earlier this month and we've been picking out some of our favorites from the project. The whole thing is pretty amazing and it really poses a challange picking our favorites but we knew we would have to cover this collab between dancehall king Kranium and Absofacto, 'Two Wrongs'. From the start of the song you feel this mysterious energy come over you and it gently pulls you in by Kranium's melodic vocal work and the tracks intriguing soundscape and samples. We're confident you're going to love the track and the best part is, if you dig this, you're going to love the rest of the EP.

"The EP name evokes a thousand-piece puzzle. The world is so insane right now, with so many forces clashing. But there’s not one simple answer that can make everything better. Each smaller conflict between people that can be resolved peacefully rather than creating more tension is a step towards peace everywhere. I picture it in my mind as atoms forming planets, planets forming galaxies, and galaxies forming the universe. Every big thing being made up of smaller parts.”

Originally from Michigan and now based in Los Angeles - Absofacto released their debut EP, 'Thousand Peaces' earlier this month and upon hearing it for the first time we knew it was something special. The EP includes releases like 'Light Outside' which racked up 3.6 million streams on Spotify. Other highlights from the EP include 'Two Wrongs' - which features dancehall king Kranium - and 'Done With Love' which features the angelic duet between Absofacto and songstress, Herizen. The whole project is worth checking out as we're positive you're going to love the production style here. Blossom & HOT16 shared their music video for 'So Cool' earlier this month and we've been hooked since its release. What's better than jamming out to some funk/R&B/soul? 'So Cool' has a very timeless, very vintage sound to it that we can't get enough of. The video was produced flawlessly and I think if we were being honest we've watched it at least 50 times today. We love the vocal production here, the top melodies, the harmonies, the verses, everything about this song is great and we can't wait for you to hear it for yourself. We're excited to share with you this exciting new soulful indie/psych trio based out of Helsinki, Finland. The band recently announced their self-titled debut album - Out January 19th via AntiFragile Music - along with sharing this pretty insane, very psychedelic music video for their single 'Colors'. 

Everything about this video is interesting and creative. The production of the track really grabbed our attention and I think it's safe to say we're hooked. We can't wait to hear the bands forthcoming album and we look forward to covering more from the band in the coming months. The Fine Lines share new song 'You Try and Call Me Every Nite'

Throwback to this gem from the indie rock band out of New York/New Jersey. The Fine Lines - made up of Ben Kriegler, John Duarte, Zach Gaviria and Rob Morrison - the band is planning on releasing their first EP 'Palm Tree' on May 5th. 

This is a small taste of what's to come from the group. 'You Try and Call Me Every Nite' is a catchy tune inspired by the fickleness of modern love. The guitars, the vocal melodies, everything from the start of the track has a sweet vintage sound and we can't wait to hear the bands new EP come May.

Fall in love with John Adam's voice

We're crazy over John Adam's latest release 'For Me, For Her, For You'. From his forthcoming album, 'You Never Know Who's Listening' - John's acoustic approach compliments a unique and intriguing vocal ability. His voice is great, but his way with words is powerful. The ability to share his thoughts and purposeful observations is something very few artists can master and John Adams does it beautifully. 

Based in South Wales, John has spent most of adult life as a songwriter playing and performing gigs up and down the country. It wasn't until we took the jump and quit his job as a math teacher to perform full time and today now boasts a loyal fan base and caters to over a 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. John Adams has gone and supported acts such as Take That, Lemar, Stooshe, T'Pau and Katherine Jenkins all while performing at some of the UK's largest festivals.

This is something really special and we can't wait for you to hear it <3 

Rukhsana Merrise's new music video will blow you away

This video from Rukhsana Merrise is quite possibly one of the coolest video's we've had the pleasure of sharing on the site. The production is top notch and Rukhsana's voice is elegant and beautiful over the hip-hop/R&B inspired drum/rhythm section. Everything from start to finish feels electrifying and intriguing. The visual was flawlessly produced and we're blown away by the style of Rukhsana. At this point, we can only expect the very best from the up and coming artist and we can't wait to see what's to come from the singer.

We love Richard Jahn's new music video for 'Paint It'

London based producer/songwriter, Richard Jahn, unveiled his debut single 'Paint It' earlier this month with an accompanying music video shot at a bingo hall. The almost, sensual, mysterious sounding artist really delivered on their new track and it honestly left us speechless. The video is creative and if we were being frank, it's one of the coolest videos we've seen in awhile. The track itself is on another level and we get the impression that Richard knows exactly what he wants and won't settle for anything mediocre. 

Speaking of how ‘Paint It’ came to be, Richard explains that the song was ‘an anomaly in the way I tend to create music. Normally it’s more maximalist in approach, filling every inch of space.’ Opening with a hauntingly playful vocal hook, the soundscape may be ruthlessly minimal but with waves of reverb-soaked synthesizers washing over the brooding soundscape, the sheer force of the track is further cemented by its pulsating beat.

Following up his well-recieved debut single 'Diamonds' the king is back - Tommie King that is - with another hit 'Dead Up'. The track shows off the rappers melodic ability and covers a more in-depth layer of the artist's creative vision and talent. Listen to Little Earthquake's electrifying new single 'Human Connection' (feat. Rosa Morgan)

Australian duo Little Earthquake dropped their latest just over 2 weeks ago and when we heard the future pop classic we were totally stunned. Featuring vocals by the incredible Rosa Morgan, the production on this track is amazing. The drum section packs a decent punch and we can't get enough of the future bass style synths and wavey chords. The vocal melodies are catchy and compliment Little Earthquakes style perfectly. Throwback to some classic Kid Indigo

Kid Indigo caught our attention not long ago and we've been enjoying some of the artists older tracks. One of our favorites would definitely be 'Write Your Wrongs'. The balance between flows and harmonies really pull you in and who doesn't love some old school piano and drum sampling. The track has a very vintage, very raw sound to it. Music like this is timeless and doesn't expire. Hats off to Kid Indigo and creating something as fun as this. Sereda's 'I got you' is a must hear

Up and coming R&B singer, Sereda, shared their new song with us earlier this month and upon hearing it for the first time, our jaws dropped to the floor. Seriously, have you heard this yet? Everything from the drums, the electric guitar solos, and the dreamy toplines provided by Sereda herself is flawless. This is the artist's debut single under Sereda and with material like this, we foresee some incredible things to come from Sereda in the coming months.
