These Mixmash crew collabs are 🔥

The dangerously talented Mixmash crew is back it with their first ever compilation ablum, 'Rise', featuring collabs from their exclusive line-up of artists. To be completely fair, all of the records are massive dancefloor busting tunes, but the collab between Inpetto and Pyrodox - 'Islands In The Sky' - really caught our attention with its unique genre-hopping arrangement. These producers have years of experience producing various styles of house and dance music, and their expertise clearly shines in this track. With soulful vocals and breakbeat influenced sections are groovy as hell and build the just amount of tension to transition perfectly into the drop. This drop, though distinctively house, is unlike anything you've heard before. The sound design of the synths creates an enormous amount of energy as well as bringing a distinctly new groove. Mixmash Records is the imprint of legendary Tastemaker/DJ/Producer Laidback Luke, so its no wonder that all the tracks on this compilation album bring the heat.

Borai shares 'Dark Of The Sun' EP

Borai has a nice surprise for us today, hailing from Bristol, UK, the house producer shared their new EP with us 'Dark Of The Sun'. The EP features 4 incredible new songs and amongst some of our favorites, we would have to recommend checking out 'Dark Of The Sun' or 'On The Horizon'. The entire EP is great and it's hard to choose to dive right into it and let us know what you think. 

Borai has spent the last 15 years careening his musical curiosity through every tile of the dance floor. Borai's early years were spent in Bristol's many record shops as an employee and a music lover. Which eventually brought Borai to pick up DJing to continue his passion and love for jungle, house, and dancehall in nearby clubs. 

An obsession with hardware and DJing led Borai to craft a slew of his own productions and releases on Tasteful Nudes, Cahoots Records, and BRSTL. With 'Dark of the Sun', Borai is making his debut on the global cultural beacon Halocyan Records. The record will mark the 8th installment of the label's Originary Technicity series, which exemplifies 'techne' in electronic music.

Kodamilo shares incredible new future R&B single 'Harmony'

'Harmony' - Kodamilo's follow up to the artist's debut 'Gold Wav.' EP (released just 4 months ago) and it's incredible. The single has a future R&B ring to it, combining the timeless sound of R&B and future pop. The drums punch through the mix carrying energy that'll pull you into the song. Kodamilo's vocal work will send electricity through your body - hypnotizing the listener only to leave them wanting more. Kodamilo's style is infectiously catchy and the production here really stands out to us. With 2017 coming to an end, we imagine with material like this, Kodamilo has a very bright 2018 ahead. We look forward to covering more from the artist in the coming months. 

Kuji Koo's latest work will have you up and dancing around - 'Fortitude' (feat. Ollie English)

Kuji Koo impresses fans with their debut single, 'Fortitude'. The future funk, electro-pop, production really makes Kuji's sound shine. In collaboration with Ollie English - we immediately fell in love upon hearing it for the first time. The track features wavey chords, a groovy bassline, and an infectiously catchy vocal topline. For fans who enjoy deep-house, electro-pop, or music that makes you feel good - 'Fortitude' is for you. 

We don't know much about Kuji or Ollie yet but with material like this, we imagine we're going to hear a lot more from the artists in the coming months. Till then, I guess we'll just have to keep this on repeat.
