Whatever We Are remix 'Drowning' 💦

NYC pop group Whatever We Are give an authentic and raw spin on A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's 'Drowning'. The dark ambiance of this record pairs perfectly for the vocal stylings of the group. From angsty hip-hop influenced verses to wistful and female vocals in the chorus, this song is an emotional rollercoaster. We were really drawn in by the intimacy and vulnerable rawness of this remix, in other words...its emo in the best way possible.

Unbelievably good remix of one of the most iconic Deadmau5 records 😱

Since it was released on May 23, 2011, as the final single from his fifth studio album 4×4=12, 'Raise Your Weapon' has become one of the admired electronic dance records in the world.  Written by deadmau5, Cydney Sheffield, and Skrillex, featuring vocals from Greta Svabo Bech.

Salt Lake City bass music producer Fransis Derelle began his journey into electronic music 9 years ago after bearing witness to a deadmau5 set. The producer has come a long way in that time, garnering attention on his killer remixes for bass wizards like Flux Pavilion and Datsik. Now the producer is ready to meet his maker, remixing deadmau5.

This remix takes full advantage of the powerful and recognizable original vocal, creating new and unique synth-scapes underneath. Derelle then delivers a shakingly beautiful future bass influenced drop with mighty and full chords, crisp drums and thundering low end. Remixing this song was definitely a creative risk, but Fransis Derelle executes it with clear direction and masterful production to match.

Keep an eye out for his new EP "Pixel Paradise" coming out on Circus Records next month.
