Perry Paints brings a gritty rap style to new joint 'Corners'

Perry Paints is bringing a gritty rap style to his music and if you're a fan of that bass-heavy hip-hop beats and catchy hooks, Perry's 'Corners' is for you. The lyrical style is raw and Perry holds nothing back as he goes bar for bar on his latest release. It's caught the attention and co-sign of Anthony Fantano (The Needle Drop) and we have to agree. We LOVE visuals over here at Gems and Secrets and today we have something pretty awesome from legendary turntablist artist from Jurassic 5, Cut Chemist. Known for their forward-thinking and thought-provoking style, Cut Chemist's latest is everything art should reflect. Pay attention to the lyrics and the raw grittiness of the song. As Cut Chemist gets ready for his official sophomore LP, Die Cut , (Out March 2nd), the veteran producer/turntablist hits us with an awesome visual for 'Metalstorm,' featuring both Edan and Mr. Lif. You may remember alxxa's cover of Rihanna's 'Umbrella' a few months back and we had nothing but great things to say about the artist then. We can't say much as changed since, alxxa's lyrical style feels powerful and raw.
