[Premiere] Peter Kuli shares beautiful new single 'Potion' (feat. Still Haze)

It's a beautiful Tuesday morning and to get things started we have this brand new record from Peter Kuli and Still Haze titled 'Potion'. We love this track for several reasons.. the instrumentation is light and minimalistic and doesn't take up all of your attention. The atmosphere of the pads creates a warm energy that we felt was soothing and relaxing and places a clear emphasis on the vocal performance—the vocals add an intimate touch and the lyricism is rich with imagery (pay attention as you listen along).

"Although the backing track was written in January, it took until June to find a vocalist. After 6 months of searching, I met Alex on online music platform Vocalizr. I was very inspired by her music on her profile and so I blatantly sent her a message asking her whether she would be interested to collaborate on a track.

The original intention of the track was to create a late night vibe. The jazzy e-piano runs in verses and frequent use of 7th chords were to create 'walking across the street late at night' picture. The mood of the track changed during the composition and it is interesting how most people hearing it now think the song has tropical summer vibes." - Cylink
