“It was something I wrote after feeling disempowered in my career. Losing management and parting ways with my team, not having success at the time. I just wrote this record as someone who was contemplating leaving, as a metaphor for leaving music. It’s a woe-is-me record… someone who feels like no one cares about him, he’s forgotten. That’s just how I felt when I wrote it. 

We love the sound and passion Layto brings to the table. ‘My Final Symphony’ is a true reflection of the artist’s vision and creativity and we can’t wait to hear what else he’s working on. Formally known as SHY Nodi, Nirob Islam has consistently written some of our favorite tracks from over the years. The 26-year-old Swedish artist has even penned songs for The Chainsmoker’s ‘All We Know’ as well as NOTD’s ‘I Wanna Know’ and ‘The Ocean’ by Mike Perry and SHY Martin. So, when his new single ‘Westside’ came out, we knew we were in for a real treat.

‘Westside’ was inspired by the struggles, success and overall journey that I’ve had with my best friend and writing partner over the past few years. I found it funny how self-doubt, disbelief and an overall lack of confidence are always present, no matter what level of success you can have creatively. Working with music is a double-edged sword where self expression and your emotions can be valued simply by what other people think. With those things in mind, I just wanted to make a song where I show appreciation to what I have and the people around me, and also to remind people not to overthink things too much’ - Nirob Islam.

Whether you’re a fan of pop, electro, or R&B… Nirob Islam’s ‘Westside’ is a must-hear by all and does an excellent job at showcasing Nirob’s infectiously catchy writing style. It’s relatable, creative, and bright… but more importantly, it’s always written from a genuine place.

Released just last week, Airmow and EthanUno’s ‘Nobody Knows’ is dangerously addicting. The dark undertones mixed with bright, punchy vocals make for a unique and innovate sound that blends the likes of artists like The Weeknd, Justice, and Daft Punk.

Airmow explains: “The bassline was created with a lot of organic synthetic sounds that I recorded and designed myself. For example, I created one of the ‘crunchy’ sounds using my mouth. The vocals from Ethan Uno then bring a super powerful groove to the drop”.

Airmow and EthanUno are making some of the most exciting material we’ve heard in a long time. With ‘Nobody Knows’, the hype is genuine and the future looks rather promising. With talent like this, it’s safe to say we’ll be following the two rather closely moving forward.

Uno adds: “I aspire to create catchy melodies and unforgettable lines with the intention of capturing the listener's attention as quickly as possible. This song pertains to the feeling of falling in love. The hook cements the theme of the track by emphasizing the euphoric feeling one gets from the connection; a feeling that `nobody knows".

Some of our favorites? Well, it’s hard to pick but ‘Bad News’ grabbed our attention almost immediately. It does a solid job at delivering a balance of Nick’s writing abilities, both in the front of singing and harmonizing to an impressive lyrical flow of raps.
