If you're an artist on Spotify, you know first hand that when you're first starting out getting 250 followers to become verified is challenging. Your mom can only follow you once, so now you're down to 249! Luckily, that's no longer an issue. As of early May, an artist will be verified if they have access o Spotify for Artists! On their official statement (link below) they say that although they are working as diligently as possible, your verified check mark may not be visible until late May. 

We suggest you still hustle for those 250 followers, simply because that's an awesome milestone!
