Truth Talks #003 — How Badly Do You Want It?

HOW BADLY DO YOU WANT IT?

I don't care if you're a writer, vocalist, producer, or a dentist — here's some cold hard truth; there are millions of people trying to do the exact same thing you are. Yup, that's right, MILLIONS. Now, I am not saying that all of you reading this don't know this already, hell, I'm sure all of you reading this know that. However, often times, we get so caught up in what we do that we forget that. Does it mean stop and give up? Absolutely not. Does it mean work harder? Yes, absolutely. Does it also mean work smarter? Yeah, like 100%. I take that back; 1000%.

 Most people quit at the sign of frustration, so let's rule out like 40% of the people trying to do what you're doing. Another 30% have depleted their "beginners luck" resources and now are wondering why they aren't getting the same results and as a result, they put in less effort. And then guess what happens? That's right, they quit. Now there's 30% left. 20% will give up because "life happens" and I use quotes because life happens to everyone — those people just choose to become the victim rather than the hero. The remaining 10% are the ones that make it, but only about 1% make it beyond the point of their true dreams. These are the ones that you see on TV, the ones you go drive across the country for to catch their tour dates. 

So that leaves me to ask you: what part of the percentage group are you? Are you willing to stand in the rain the longest? I hope so :)
