""Stop It," co-written by Abby Carey & Nate Flak, was the last song the two collaborated on as a couple, having met initially through songwriting. A rippling kaleidoscope of a break-up in real-time, “Stop It” was their way of working through the break up indirectly. The song wists and churns synths, cellos, and more with the everyday sounds of life: snatches of conversation, street sounds, an ex's laugh. ut of this maelstrom of heart ache and hope, "Stop It" fuels the downtempo heart like 22, a Million-era Bon Iver. 

"Stop It" was mastered by Big Bass Brian (Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, the Creator, Katy Perry), the typeface for the single's album cover was done by Syd Milan (Lido's "Everything"), and Jacob Reske (of Opia) provided additional vocals for the chorus.
