Born and raised in Inglewood, California, Lady Tee The Difference, is just that – “The Difference”. In her recent single, “In My Own Lane”, she takes pride in boasting – “I keep it 100, I don’t switch up for the fame/ and I been getting money, I don’t need no change.”

In this double entendre, she let’s us know that she’s been making moves, and unlike majority of others that are easily persuaded to switch up for fame and money, she on the other hand, not only refuses to, but has no need or desire to.

Her confidence, clarity, and cadence, on this West coast track, definitely has her in a lane of her own. Her choice of this track alone, shows that despite of everyone running to the down south trap sound, Lady Tee is staying true to where she’s from. She then decides to further her Westcoast pride, by making sure her video included lowriders and palm trees, which we all know – the Westcoast is definitely known for.
