"We wanted to write about those brief dreamlike magical moments in a relationship when everything seems perfect. Consisting of Nashville songwriters Jessie Early and Angela & Tim Lauer, this trio blends synthetic and organic sounds into a melodic swirl of keyboards, strings, electronic percussion and indie-pop vocals. Bien began when Jessie and Angela came away from a writing session for another Nashville artist with a batch of songs that seemed to fit in their own category. They brought those initial homemade recordings to Angela's husband, renowned producer/musician Tim Lauer (Kaleo, Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, Foy Vance, and Mikky Ekko), and together the three began creating the type of music they had all been longing to hear.
