We're super excited to share this gem with you today from Ben Alessi. The New York based artist straddles the new and the traditional. His music utilizes the technology of today, the swagger of right now while crafting perfectly formed, classic songs. He has now gathered six of these gems together on the disemvoweled ‘PRSSR’ EP. Originally hailing from Buffalo, he has been rampantly writing and producing for the last 5 years, exploring pop, electronica, brainmelting synthesizers, gorgeous acoustic tones, bone-rumbling bass, vocal layering and textured melodies. He packed his bags and moved to Manhattan in 2015 and since then, has been loudly celebrated by Billboard (premiering the video for ‘U’), gushed on by blogs/mags such as Deli Magazine, Culture Collide, Hilly Dilly, EQ Music, A&R Factory and even praised by The Wu-Tang Clan.
