Dubai’s leading hip-hop collective, The Recipe, is back with another banger 'Uma Thurman' off their forthcoming album Funerals & Purgatory. The 11-track album is set for release early this Fall and will include their previous hits “Bandana” and “Place To Rest” featuring Talib Kweli and Spark Master Tape. 

When asked about the meaning behind “Uma Thurman,” rapper Kaz Money said: “This track is the culmination of almost 10 years of grinding and we feel like it’s time to wake these people up. It represents literal blood, sweat, and tears for us. We feel like it’s the perfect way to start the album, an adrenaline shot to the heart like that classic scene with Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. The music video’s powerful and frenetic visuals match the track’s energy, and the ensuing battle is open for everyone’s interpretation. ‘Uma Thurman,’ is our way of waking the people up.”
