Petrie - the alt-pop duo consisting of George and Better Laurence, two friends from Hertfordshire, distinctly British and seemingly intent on pushing songwriting boundaries to their limits. 

‘Late Night’ mixes the raw sounds of hip-hop and grunge with startling tropes of the top 40, almost as if the narrator and his lover are fighting over the aux cable. 

Brash guitars and lurching beats are combined with ear-grabbing synth melodies and sugary vocal hooks.
