Music became an outlet for these two sisters after breaking free from the chains of Catholic school and the confines of suburban life. Today, Melis and Jess decided it was time to trash their school uniforms and trade them in for fashionable streetwear. Together, they want you to join their girl gang revolution and we couldn’t be anymore excited about it.
We believe that whether or not you enjoy pop music, RUUMER brings a sound that’s undeniably catchy and great for anyone. Their vocal style is not only powerful and moving but their personalities are as charismatic and as fun as one could hope for—making music fun and innocent all while tackling important topics and misconstrued social norms.
