AlunaGeorge’s vocal performance creates this dream-state atmosphere that not only pulls the listener in what feels like a soft blanket but is incredibly melodic and vibrant. The drums relentlessly drive the energy of the track as we’re led by a warm bass-line widely recognized in many of SG Lewis’s music.

‘Hurting’ marks the first single from ‘Dark’; the second phase of his upcoming three-part concept album ‘Dusk, Dark, Dawn’ which will be released via Casablanca/Republic Records this October 5th.
