It’s been awhile since we’ve featured an artist like Strandels. For fans of indie pop and folk, the duo’s sound could be described as honest and melancholic, but more importantly, it just feels genuine to us.
“‘Talking To The Moon’ is about all your inner demons that you’re always struggle with. In our case it’s about not feeling comfortable with opening up fully to a real person, so you turn to the moon (like a metaphor of talking to nothingness) and that you never get an answer.”
‘Talking To The Moon’ is such a beautiful song. It’s expressive and moody in all the right ways and we’re excited to hear what else the band has been working on. Until then, take the time to really soak this one in.
