Titled 'Fool', the songwriter / producer is turning things up a notch. Written as a reminder to himself and a message to others, Applepie finds sincere words that get under your skin:
"So when I end up next time, just pretending I'm fine, I can come back here, I can tell you: Yes, somehow I'm ok with this cause it's not that bad. Somehow, I'll always be a fool. You should try it, too, sometime."
'Fool' is also about falling in love, not being put off by the awkwardness that comes from the different tempo and the different needs of two people, but accepting and celebrating the foolishness that we display.
