Renaissance man of the music world, Tim Atlas, is on the horizon with a new EP, "Le Soir", slated for an 8/25 drop. This multi-talented melody maker just delivered the first of that installment with a vibrant, electric track titled, "Knockin".
According to Atlas, the song encapsulates the intoxicating dance of banter, jokes, and flirting that make us feel desired. But beneath the surface, the lyrics reveal a darker undertone of mistaking desire for an escape - a fleeting refuge from life's pressures and heartache.
“Knockin” is a song about magnetism towards someone romantically. “The synergy that builds between two people can feel relentless. We all love the banter, the jokes, the flirting because at the end of the day, it makes us feel wanted and chosen,” says Tim Atlas
This move, symbolic of boundless self-expression, inspired him to explore a grittier, industrial sound, leading to his most adventurous and liberating work yet, "Knockin". Atlas reveals, "represents the unexplored facets of my musical persona." In closing, this is by far one of our favorite pieces that Tim has recorded and we look forward to the release of his upcoming EP.
