WHAT'S HAPPENING:

Co-directed by Sam Macon and Faythe Levine, Sign Painters is a 2014 documentary exploring the economy and art of hand-painted signs throughout the country. The film champions artists who've dedicated their careers to this highly-specialized, almost-endangered form of visual communication. The Institute of Contemporary Art will be screening the film after a few opening remarks from Macon.
