St. Humain shares "Make a Move"

If you're looking for vibe & groove, this one's for you. With pop sensibilities with flecks of soul to a backdrop of electronic production, Make a Move is about that inner war, that conversation with the voices in your head that strain to keep you locked in. “Life’s way too short for hesitation…” It’s a common experience to go through each day with longings for better lives, for things that we’ve always wanted but were too scared to run after. Sometimes all that’s needed is a single step forward to rebel against the forces that stand between you and the future that you’ve always dreamed of.

Yvng Jalapeno & Ian Munro - "I Don't Need You" (feat. Cultra)

Firing out of Quality Goods Records on September 8th is the breath-taking new collaboration from Yvng Jalapeno and Ian Munro, ‘I Don’t Need You.’ Featuring sweetly mesmerising vocals from Cultra, the release will consist of the original, as well as an instrumental and Accapella version. Australian producer Yvng Jalapeno has a strongly unique sound that encompasses a wealth of different musical styles, and his tracks are always full of technical dynamite. Having supported the likes of marshmello and Getter last year alongside his own tour, 2017 has seen him release plenty of original material. The unstoppable young Ian Munro has also had a seriously notable few months; dropping an EP for UZ’s QGR that featured a Billboard Top 10 Spotify Viral single last year and releasing a slew of official remixes in 2017, including one of Mt. Eden’s classic ‘Sierra Leone’ for Ultra Music, which was supported by the likes of UZ and Hardwell. Together the duo has made a truly soulful sound with the pop-leaning trap cut ‘I Don’t Need You.’ Searching vocals and memorable lyrics play a huge part in this brooding tune, which builds and falls with heavy abandon. Jostling, disjointed rhythms, suspended drum licks and syncopated melodies work with sublime ease alongside additional, pitched tones and melodic flow. With the artists behind ‘I Don’t Need You’ already supported by several high profile names in the game, this stunning track carries forward both individual artists’ trademarks.

”The track is a snapshot. The desire to find the perfect moment an stay in it. This is said with some irony. Because the perfect moment is of course only perfect because it ends. ”I wanna stay here forever” is something you say all the while knowing that you probably want to get going in about a half an hour. And that’s fine as long as you got the feeling in the moment. The track is however also a reminder that if you get caught in the endless mill of self-realization, you may never become satisfied with existence. We think that it is important to - once in a while - take some time to waste some time.”

Holy Oysters share new song "Methylene Blue"

Parisian five-piece Holy Oysters released their new single 'Methylene Blue' this week and we thought we would share this masterpiece of a song with you. Described by frontman Max Tribèche as “the most experimental song I’ve ever written,” ‘Methylene Blue’ is a celestial foray into the band’s offbeat psyche. Like their last single ‘Just So You Know,’ ‘Methylene Blue’ draws influence from ’00s R&B, reinterpreted through the filter of the band’s trademark psychedelic pop. “The high note is actually the highest note I’ve ever sung,” says Tribèche of the track’s otherworldly sound. “I literally had to act like an R&B diva in front of the mic. It was pretty ridiculous.” The result, in its flourishing soundscapes and heavenly melody, lands somewhere between NAO, FKA twigs and Mura Masa.
