Oh boy.. we're huge fans of soul and hip hop inspired records. And Zak Messenger really brought something fresh to the table with their latest single "Catalyst". Zak has a unique tone thats calming and the flow is smooth and full of elegance. It's a great song and you can't listen to it just once. Known for their infectious energy and unique harmonies, retro-pop duo Fly By Midnight was formed after a casual songwriting session in their NY based studio. Former MTV’s Dream Bigger reality star and multi-instrumentalist, Justin Bryte, was introduced to producer/song-writer Slavo in 2015. After collaborating on several projects the two saw an undeniable potential for combining their artistry. By releasing original music and reimagined covers the duo has generated a strong independant buzz and have recently charted to #6 on Spotify’s Viral 50, as well gained features in Tequila & Denim , SparkAndGrind , Verge Campus , UQ Music , The Wrap , Buzzfeed , Mix 104.1 , Aussie Word , PopMuzik , Wolf In A Suit , Beats4LA , The Most Definitely , & UpToTempo . On set, it made for a genuine and positive dynamic, which really helped everyone to feel comfortable and get in the zone. The scene with the inflatable pool in the kitchen was so much fun to shoot. When else do you get to soak in a kiddie pool filled with fruits and friends!? STS x Khari Mateen share "Better On A Sunday"

We're excited to share with you a sneak peak for STS and Khari Mateen's upcoming project set for release on November 10th. This touching video set place in what looks like Venice California, sets the mood for this heartfelt record from the two artists and we think you'll love it too. The two musicians share several connections throughout the history of their careers. Raised in Atlanta, they followed different paths to ultimately wind up in Philly, collaborating with The Roots and their extended crew.
 
In 2015, STS and RJD2 released a full-length album titled STS x RJD2. Khari toured the US as part of their live band, playing bass and cello. During this time, STS and Khari began working on the tracks that would become Better On A Sunday.
 
The record draws upon their parallel childhoods in Atlanta and musical coming of age in Philly. It’s about the American spirit of hard work and enjoying time spent with family and friends. Whether you’re a mechanic, a doctor, a teacher or a rapper, these are the struggles and simple joys that we all share.
