Our latest obsession comes from electronic group THAT KIND. Featuring hypnotizing vocal work and deep house elements, THAT KIND delivers a chilling experience with their latest, 'Watching You'. Upon hearing it for the first time, we saw parallels between artists like ZHU but it goes without question that the groups sound is nothing short of amazing and creative. It's almost like a fusion of dark pop and house music. In summary, it's an exciting project and we see a lot of potential for growth and success.

Max Styler brightens up the party with new single 'Feel It'

This may just be our favorite Max Styler release. We particularly enjoyed the vocal style and the structure of the arrangement this time around due to its bouncy and colorful production style. It's simple, its fun, and damn its catchy.  

Combining elements of deep house with warm bass tones, expressive vocoded vocals, creating the perfect house burner for all of your upcoming activities. Styler's career has skyrocketed over the last year and it's awesome to see the artist move away from his typical glitchy future bass sounds of 2017 and embrace something as fresh as 'Feel It'.

This instrumental from Mir is awesome, Here's why:

So it's been awhile since we've covered an instrumental on the site (but its for good reason). For us, its really challenging to dig through hundreds of submissions and find something that creatively speaks volume without some sort of imagery from the vocalist. With instrumentals, its extremely difficult because it has to tell a story in order to keep us interested—but that's exactly what electronic producer Mir did with their new song 'resistance'.

Mir craft-fully and successfully channeled his emotions and relayed that energy in the form of an instrumental that grows on you as you listen along. It's really not as easy as it looks but nonetheless, Mir delivers. Tentendo releases 'Ghost' (feat. Blasko)

This new dance record from Tentendo sounds incredible... if you're a fan of house tracks with a soulful R&B vocal top-line, 'Ghost' will hit the sweet spot. Featuring Blasko on vocals, the two artists deliver a catchy new house tune with dark hypnotic undertones. The sound design and the instrumental production sound great in the mix and provide a really intense experience that may or may not cause one to dance uncontrollably. 

Tentendo says; 'Ghost came about one winter afternoon in my lounge room with Blasko. I just started flicking through some old beats - most of which I hated but this one stuck out as one which might have potential. We re-worked it a bit and the song was done a couple of hours and a short pizza break later. Ghost is about wanting to be seen, wanting to be visible to someone.' 

While this may be Tentendo's second release over the last year, the producer is gearing up to release a string of new music via Majestic Casual and after hearing 'Ghost', I think it's safe to say we're pretty excited to hear what's next. Don't forget to connect with the artist online and enjoy!

Listen to CARDS catchy new single 'Periphery' here!

We love this new record from indie-pop artist CARDS. Everything from the instrumentation to the vocal style is light, fun, and infectiously catchy. The atmosphere of the track is really warm and inviting and it creates a sort of timeless experience around the song. It's great for relaxing and tapping your foot to or it serves as a great way to get the party started. Either way, you'll be singing or humming along by the end of the song. CARDS has an incredible talent for writing catchy songs but also providing a deep imagery with their lyrical style. Originally a two-person creation, songwriter Tuva Hellum Marschauser, and British musician Simon Would. Tuvaband is now the solo project of Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser. Tuva is a singer, songwriter, and producer originally from Norway and currently based in Berlin. She has a unique sound that blends lo-fi production, reverb-drenched guitars and catchy vocal layering. In late 2016, Tuva was ready to share her music, and the band self-released their debut double A-side single 'Unknown / Running'. The songs quickly gained international recognition with over 4 million streamsvia Spotify in the first 4 months.

Watch Nacarat's music video to single 'Karma' here!

Italian based artist, Nacarat, began songwriting at the age of sixteen years old, with inspiration by Adele, that gave her the confidence boost to start creating music of her own. This opened doors to let her express her perception about this world through her eyes as well as constructing lyrics people could relate to.

'Karma' was written after a break up. In moments of vulnerability, Nacarat put words into perspective and turn moments of frailty into a work of Art.

Alice Gray delivers her best work yet with 'Lay Down'

Alice Gray is constantly raising the bar and is consistently delivering quality work but 'Lay Down' may be her best work yet. Why? Well for starters, we felt like we got to witness a more intimate version of Alice's writing style and we felt that there was a clearer focus on the vocal production rather than relying on fancy tricks and over-produced instrumentals. Alice has an incredible gift when it comes to writing and that really proved to be true here.

And the talent only starts from there. This time, on top of yet another solid release, Alice delivered an impressive music video to go along with it that was also directed, choregraphed, and performed by herself. 

"When I wrote this song I was a wreck, but writing, directing and performing it has turned that mess into the utmost gratifying project I've worked on."

We love where Alice is headed and with each and every release, we fall deeper into our appreciation for the artist and we honestly can't wait till everyone else catches on. Enjoy!

Kick back and enjoy this soulful R&B gem from Rosé and dylAn

One of our latest obsessions come from the incredible Rosé and rising hip-hop artist dylAn. Titled 'Pieces', we were immediately drawn in by the warm production style and the slow rhythmic energy from the drums.

Rosé delivers a jaw-dropping vocal performance and provides a deep level of imagery with her lyricism and unique vocal style while dylAn provides an important contrast to the record with his raw energy and creative word play when delivering his verses. 

We've been enjoying the hip-hop artists vocal style for some time now so we were excited to see this collaboration come about when it did and we can only hope to hear future work from both of the artists in the near future. But until then, I suppose we'll keep 'Pieces' on repeat. Enjoy!
