So it's been awhile since we've covered an instrumental on the site (but its for good reason). For us, its really challenging to dig through hundreds of submissions and find something that creatively speaks volume without some sort of imagery from the vocalist. With instrumentals, its extremely difficult because it has to tell a story in order to keep us interested—but that's exactly what electronic producer Mir did with their new song 'resistance'.

Mir craft-fully and successfully channeled his emotions and relayed that energy in the form of an instrumental that grows on you as you listen along. It's really not as easy as it looks but nonetheless, Mir delivers.
