Watch Model Man's brand new music video here—'Ketones'
WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY:
After their debut release titled, ‘Alone', brothers Mark and Rob Brandon—aka Model Man—make their return with yet another gem, cultivating a style that explores the depths of organic house music and lush and colorful soundscapes. Accompanying the new release is a gorgeous music video that features a rich cinematic look and feel with a choreographed dance routine designed by Aaron Sillis—who is also known for his work with FKA Twigs, Jungle, and Years and Years.
The entire video was shot on a 16mm film camera and elevates not only the perspective and tone of the song, but the deeper meaning of its inspiration. Model Man proves yet again that artistry is alive and well and we can’t wait to hear more from the duo in the coming months. Don’t forget to connect with the artist online to stay up to date on what’s happening next and enjoy!
WHAT THE ARTIST HAS TO SAY:
Rob Brandon says: ''The idea of dancing to be alone is something we’ve been exploring for a while but it’s an odd, almost comical notion to visualize. We wrote lots of completely different ideas. I struggled to find one leading interpretation of the song. When Aaron Sillis and Dominant Namek got involved; we were able to allow this group of amazing dancers to individually interpret the song how they liked. And then I got to kill them. It was a lot of fun.’’
