WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY:

Who else is enjoying the latest and greatest from Silent Child? Titled ‘When You Need Me’, the new single showcases a dark and moody side of the artist that we can’t get enough of. Since it’s release last week, it’s been on constant repeat around the office and for good reason.

“It being the sequel, the song is also about my relationship. It was made more recently, but it still felt right. I like to use guitar to convey my feelings in a more understanding way and so I ended up using it more in this track because I just felt like there was more for me to say. The first song was almost like an introduction to my feelings, whereas "When You Need Me" is the real love story” — Silent Child

The dark undertones and heavy 808’s serve as an impactful reminder that artists are still making music with an original and unique sound. Blending genres like electronic and R&B music, ‘When You Need Me’ is an expressive and infectiously catchy new single that captures the heart and soul of Silent Child as an artist.
