A pretty solid record from God P. Their first single that fully lays down a foundation of what we can expect from the artist. There's not a lot of information about the rapper online but I'm sure with the quality of his verses - it won't be long till we learn everything there is about the hip hop artist. Baby FuzZ is the newest alter ego of American songwriter Sterling Fox. Shortly after the 2016 presidential election, Fox moved to Montreal, Canada in cultural protest of the misogynistic, racist, and anti-environmental policies of the US government. It was there he began to work on Baby FuzZ. "Cig", the first release from the artist is what he describes as a "nihilist anthem for disillusioned chipmunks drenched in Bud Light and dark humor." This Section 6ix (Crew remix) is lowkey a banger. Australian hip hop artists Nabiiou$, Lordskii, and Trapboi go off and we haven't been able to turn it off. It's the first time we’ve ventured into finding a singer that really fit the sound we wanted, and for the vocalist, Brendan Grambow, it was his first time working on something like this. Traditionally a choir singer at the University of Pennsylvania, Brandon, was not able to record his vocals in his home studio due to noise complaints, so a lot of what ended up being a very rich sound came from a makeshift recording setup in the basement of an old building on campus in Philadelphia. South African sensation, Khwezi, has come a long way since his early days of making beats on the school computer and uploading them to Myspace. Khwezi’s more recent exploits include production credits on Grammy award winning song, Me Soltaste by Jesse & Joy, and making his debut on Hot Source Records. When We Were Young – released earlier this year – has been a roaring success; making it on to countless playlists, and sound-tracking many music lovers’ summers.
Swiftly following up from that initial impact, Khwezi is back again with another melodic masterpiece in the form of Dreamcatcher, featuring the vocal talents of Matthew Sperring. In his own words, Khwezi explains, “Dreamcatcher is about the dreams we all have as kids, and as we grow up, reality punishes us for dreaming. So, you can either give up and be ‘realistic’, or fight until you live your dreams.” Dreamcatcher is an ode to positivity and childhood innocence – compositionally transcendental and lyrically inspiring, it’s an excuse to take three minutes out of your day to daydream, and to dream big. Seattle hip-hop emcee and vocalist Xperience aka XP unveils hot new video for "Candy."
In 2001 XP moved back to Olympia to live with his estranged father. It was there that XP started to put rhymes to beats and consider rapping as a career. In 2004, he opened up for Brother Ali, alongside a young, up-and-coming, white emcee and fellow Olympia-based emcee Ben Haggarty aka Macklemore.
“I was blown away when I saw him do ‘White Privilege,’ recalls XP. “After the show we hung out and just clicked." When Macklemore invited XP to collaborate on music, it was the beginning of what would become his long, close friendship. XP was featured on “Hold Your Head Up,” “As Soon As I Wake Up,” and “Good For You” on Macklemore's 2005 The Language of My World and was promptly enlisted to join Macklemore's first worldwide tour.
Meanwhile, at that time XP also met other notable Seattle hip-hop artists likeSleep, Onry Ozzborn, JFK, Smoke, and Candidt. By 2006, he was the last member to be inducted into the famed Northwest collective, Oldominion— and became firmly planted in the Seattle hip-hop landscape. He has released numerous projects of his own, including the 2012 The Mixtape The Durden Papers "Vol 1, "the 2013 EP, The Revelations and Chasing Grace last year.
The Federal Empire is an alternative/electronic duo made up of lead singer Chad Wolf (multi platinum artist Carolina Liar) and McKay Stevens (grammy nominated songwriter). Their first EP released to critical acclaim with singles reaching top 5 US Viral and Global Viral charts and appearing on playlists like New Music Friday and Weekly Buzz as well as reaching #1 on Hype Machine. They have toured all across the United States and Canada for a couple months promoting the record.

The new single "You and Drugs" was written after some really toxic, on again/off again, late night, hook up relationships. It is a commentary on our instant gratification culture where we all want that high of drugs but we all end up feeling empty or lost after it. So we wanted to ask the question "what's the difference between You and drugs?". They are basically the same. Relationships are drugs, our phones and social media are drugs etc. We want quick and easy. In the end the song hinges on that point in life where you are over the instant gratification and toxic experience with "drugs" and you want real love. You want something that lasts and fills you up. It is harder work and commitment but so much more rewarding.
